From November 1, 2025, through February 1, 2026, the much-loved rink once again transforms Heartwood Park into a scene straight out of a classic holiday film.
Families, couples, and friends will gather beneath twinkling lights to make memories on the ice — all with a little help from ONYX Automotive, the proud returning sponsor of this growing Omaha winter tradition.
“After seeing the community’s incredible response last year, we’re thrilled to continue supporting the Heartwood Preserve Ice Rink for another season,” said Tom Coleman, Marketing Director at ONYX Automotive.
Located at 301 N. 145th Street, just south of 144th and Dodge, the rink offers free admission and 90-minute skating sessions, including skate rentals, skating aids, and themed community events at no charge.
Whether you’re a seasoned skater perfecting your spins or a first-timer gripping the rail, the Heartwood Preserve Ice Rink welcomes everyone to join in the fun.
Beyond the ice, visitors can enjoy festive experiences every weekend — from live DJ nights every Friday to community stage performances on Saturdays featuring local schools and theater groups.
And of course, Sundays with Santa returns, giving children the chance to meet St. Nick and share their holiday wishes.
